Syncing needs two things: an account and an internet connection. If either is missing, changes stay on the phone they were made on until it's fixed.
- Check you're signed in. Open the Profile tab, tap Settings, and look at Backup under Data. If it says Off, you're using the app as a guest. Tap it to create an account or log in.
- Use the same account on both phones. Log in with the same method each time. If you used Apple on one phone and email on the other, you may have two separate accounts.
- Check the connection. If you see "You're offline", your changes are saved on the phone and sync automatically once you're back online.
- Open the app on both phones. Changes are sent a moment after you make them, and each phone picks up new changes when the app opens or comes back to the foreground.
- Update the app from the App Store.
If both phones show different habits after logging in, you'll be asked which to keep. See The data conflict screen.
Widgets refresh once the app has synced, so they might lag a little behind.
Still out of sync? Contact us and tell us which sign-in method you use.
